I am a Journalism and Gender & Sexuality Studies major at New York University. I am interested in working for a publication, and working to sort out what some have come to know as the Gender Problem. This is the area in which every individual, from birth, has become restricted into the binds of their biological sex. Some, including me, believe that this has created a serious identity crisis for many individuals, and may be responsible for many of the social issues, such as the divorce rate, that society experiences today. Is it a distinction that can be broken down in order to create a wider scope in which individuals an define themselves? I want to know…
